For the international environmental publication Mongabay, I spoke with climate and indigenous experts, as well as Constitutional Council-members, about the Constitutional proposal that was rejected last month. Chile is a country battered by climate change, and its ecological diversity make the country vulnerable on many levels. With the failure of the Constitutional process, the country needs to find new juridical and legislative ways of protecting the environment.
